Live Art Show

Music By: DJ NOVAA

Visual Artist: Jillian Mateus

Date: August 13th, 2022

Location: Studio Anatomy

Traverse City MI, 2012-2022

A female artist painting on a canvas illuminated by purple and pink lights in a dark room.

About The Event

This event was hosted by Studio Anatomy, a former venue in downtown Traverse City (2012-2022). The music was performed by a live D,J and my friend, NOVAA (otherwise known by: Troy Novak). I painted live for the event, improvising or free styling in response to the music being played by NOVAA.

This was such a fun experience and honor to be one of the last artists who performed on stage at Studio Anatomy! I hope to see them open again one day.
